Love, Hope, Support. And one common goal; To reduce the number of children’s lives taken by Lysosmal Storage Disorders (LSD’s). WYLDER JAMES, a forever 3 year old little boy who never let the Niemann Pick Disease define or defy him. PHIL, leader of Genzyme’s ‘Running for Rare Disease’ team and a Biomedical Engineer at Genzyme who has been fighting for treatments for children with Lysosomal Storage Disorders for over 16 years. Our two “Nations” collided last year, when Phil began running in honor of Wylder at the epic 2012 Boston Marathon. It was instantly bond between a little boy in Heaven and a running campaign that reminded us all of one thing: Individually we may feel rare, but together we are STRONG. Since April of 2012, Wylder and Phil have ran over 150 marathon miles together. Now they are at it again, this time in Wylder’s hometown of Phoenix Arizona for the PF Chang's Rock and Roll Marathon.

Wylder, who never walked a single step in his life, but left his footprints on the hearts of thousands, forever paving the way to continue to help others battling Lysosomal Storage Disorders. Phil, who with every step he runs reminds us about commitment, community and perseverance. With your help we will succeed in the fight against Lysosomal Storage Disorders one STEP at a time.
