The Venture TRI-Outs!
A team for COVENANT POINT BIBLE CAMP
"Julie, Linda, and Sarah are TRI-in' OUT!" a triathlon to help COVENANT POINT BIBLE CAMP raise money so KIDS can BE at CAMP!"
Julie Bladel, Linda Johnson, and Sarah Snow love camp. Covenant Point Bible Camp is a special place for each of them. Over the course of many years, they have either worked at camp, volunteered at camp, been campers, and have families that have enjoyed the Point as well. Their friendship began at various points while at Covenant Point. For the past four years, they have all enjoyed Venturing Out on the women's backpacking trips each summer.
Because they enjoy being together, they throught they would TRI something new and form a triathlon team that will participate in the CPBC traithlon on Sunday, August 4, 2013 up in the U.P. In exchange for paying a large entrance fee, each team is given the challenge to raise $1,000 that will support the CPBC Triathlon Scholarship Fund. Each year CPBC Triathlon raises funds to make facility accessibility upgrades, purchase specialized programming tools, and hire qualified staff caregivers. This year, Covenant Point has been able to introduce a new family camp program (thanks to the Triathlon Scholarship Fund) that will allow families with children that have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to enjoy a week of fellowship and support together!
Please consider supporting Covenant Point's ministry through your support of Sarah (Swim), Julie (Bike), and Linda (Run)!
