The UVP Seattle to Vancouver Team is raising funds for the Uganda Village Project (UVP). UVP is a 501(c)(3) that facilitates healhcare and development initiatives in the Iganga District of Uganda. Its a small organization with an annual budget of $100,000...but we accomplish a ton with that $100k, from sanitation campaigns to obstetric fistual repair camps to digging wells. With a 100% volunteer board we cover all our US based costs by borrowing envelopes from work and by volunteering when we should probably be working at our real jobs. But this allows me to inform you that 100% of every dollar you donate for this cause will be sent directly to Uganda for our programs. So please support UVP.

I just got back on a bicycle again yesterday for the first time since the ride. It was a different bike, but something was still squeeking!

Likewise. Wish I had gone on some long rides. Might be a little painful on Sunday.
