Building support for persons with disability who experience domestic abuse in Prince George’s County.

UCP on the Potomac will be participating in the 11th Annual Crime Victims Fund 5K run/walk supporting the Crime Victim’s Fund of Prince George’s County. The 5K is hosted by the Prince George’s County States Attorney’s Office, the Atikal Foundation, and Crime Victims Resource Center. UCP will be considered a Charity Partner at this event.

UCP will be building support for persons with disability who experience domestic abuse in Prince George’s County. We will be seeking pledges/donations to support the Crime Victims Fund; and the newly created UCP Arts & Media Program to educate and raise awareness of domestic abuse, build community integration, and explore career opportunities in arts and media. The program will include music, art, poetry, photography, and broadcasting; and will be facilitated throughout the year.

How the money will be used...

15% - Operating Costs

25% - Donation to Crime Victims Fund, slated for use with persons with disablities.

60% - UCP on the Potomac Arts & Media program
