According to Matt Inman in this comic about running, the Blerch is a wretched, lazy beast that tells you to slow down, to walk, to quit. The Blerch represents all gluttony, apathy, and indifference.

The Blerch, however, can be out run, and can be silenced.

We think one great way to silence the Blerch is to get off your butt and run for a cause you care about. It's nice that everyone is hashtagging away, but hashtags don't cure cancer, they don't feed hungry people, they don't protect victims of domestic violence, and they don't give underprivledged students a shot at college, just to name a few things.

To help those causes, we need to help non-profits. Track Friday is a national event held the day after Thanksgiving to promote charity, community, and health by running laps on local tracks. To spread the word about it, a team of Track Friday emmisaries will will Beat the Blerch on Saturday September 26th in Morristown, NJ.

We share Razoo's vision that even the smallest denomination can make a difference when combined with the efforts of others. We believe that many hands make light work. But we think the Blerch wants you to believe that you need to do a lot to make a difference. We want to show people that's not true. In fact, since 2012, Track Friday participants have raised over $60,000 supporting almost 40 charities by just doing a little bit each.

So join our team, not because you have to, but because why not?
