Thanks to the support we receive from FASGMN, our son, Lucas, achieved a major milestone last year - he went to his first Twin's game. This is significant because he is allergic to peanuts.

In addition to peanuts, Lucas also has life-threatening allergies to milk, eggs, beef and shellfish. Food allergies differ from intolerances or sensitivities. A true food allergy involves the immune system and can be fatal. There is no cure and just one bite can trigger a life-threatening reaction - so strict avoidance is the only way to prevent a reaction.

The initial diagnosis of food allergies can be overwhelming. You leave the doctor's office knowing what is medically wrong but are left to figure out how to manage life with food allergies on your own. That is where FASGMN comes in. FASGMN is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by food allergies by providing post-diagnostic support for kids with food allergies and their caregivers. Whether a family is facing a new diagnosis or a new milestone in their child's life, FASGMN can teach them how to "live" with food allergies.

Keeping kids with food allergies safe requires care and understanding from everyone. By helping to support FASGMN, you can help raise awareness and improve the lives of children that live with food allergies every day. Any amount you can give helps FASGMN carry out their mission. We greatly appreciate your support!
