In a class of 25 high school students, we asked if their parents had ever spoken to them about sexual assault or dating violence. Four students raised their hands. When asked how many had a personal experience or knew someone who had experienced sexual or dating violence all of them raised their hands.

1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually assaulted by the time they are 18 (CDC).

You know a survivor of sexual assault, but you may not know it.

PAVE (Promoting Awareness Victim Empowerment) is a non-profit organization that takes a positive approach to create social change. We engage male and female students to be a part of the solution. Through our high school curriculum we tackle the isolation, bullying and stigma associated with surviving sexual/dating abuse. Our mission is to give survivors the skills to thrive!

Our curriculum is research based with prevention learning objectives and is available for parents and administrators too. We use real survivor stories and provide tools to help parents speak to their child. We teach students how to handle the bullying and overcome trauma. Finally, we teach students how to get involved and if they see something, say something. We find that when students are able to speak openly about sexual and dating violence some of them disclose that they are victims and in need of healing. We then direct those students to our thriving phoenix healing method which includes; our healing video series, healing workshops, and healing therapies.

Please help us educate 100,000 high school students. Join the movement today!
