The Matthew Freeman Project is a not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to the support of education in order to promote communities of promise, prosperity and peace throughout the US and the World. As a qualified 501(c)(3) organization, all donations are tax-deductible.

Team Freeman is a group of runners/walkers raising money to support The Freeman Project. Our vision is to bring a team of Matthew's friends and supporters in our hometown, honoring his sacrifice by supporting the Matthew Freeman Project: Pens and Paper for Peace, in a unique event that we hope simply he views from above and smiles upon the continued efforts in his name.

We ask that each team member raise $100 in support of The Matthew Freeman Project. We'd like to thank you with an official Team Freeman running shirt, an invitation for a get-together in beautiful Savannah on race weekend, and the camaraderie of an entire team to share this experience with and motivate you during the training process.
