"CVC ADOPTS-A-CAMPER" to ensure CVC's most vulnerable youth have the positive summer experience that they deserve!

We need your help to provide a summer enrichment program for school age children at the Villages at Cabrillo.

During the school summer break, many of the residents at the Villages at Cabrillo have few options for their children once school is out.

Traditional summer camps cost about $200 a week. For the children at CVC, these camps are out of reach as many of our families are currently homeless or have limited income. CVC is committed to providing our youth with the same opportunity for enrichment programs that other children in the community have access to.

CVC's community services team (the Oasis Community Center) is proud to offer the Be B.O.L.D (Becoming, Outstanding, Leaders, and Dreamers) summer day camp for youth, K-12th, residing in non-permanent housing on site. Campers are able to experience sports, nutrition, leadership and friendship.

With the assistance from Occupational Therapy Students at CSUDH, our instructors create a camp culture based on caring and a true sense of community. Campers will learn to develop necessary social skills and learn to communicate with their peers and fellow campers through our fun filled themed weeks.

Every dollar raised through Adopt-A-Camper will go directly to fund Oasis Community Center's Summer Camp.

We rely solely on donations to support the camp. Your support will allow us to offer an educational and fun experience to the children that need it most.
