We are a group of students participating in the Slavery Footprint Campus Challenge because we want to make a difference in the fight against modern-day slavery.

The challenge asks students to take a survey at www.slaveryfootprint.org to find out how their consumption habits and linked the very real problem of modern-day slavery.

Empowered with the knowledge of how many slaves work to produce the items we buy, we are now working to bring change to this horrific reality by sending letters to companies asking them to check their supply chains and sharing information with friends while also fundraising for 3 amazing organizations: Polaris Project, Free the Slaves and GEMS.

The challenge is a collaboration between mtvU and Slavery Footprint.
