SFCASA has set a goal of raising $30,000 before yearend to match the foster youth waiting for a CASA. A generous donor has offered to match every gift made before December 31, up to $30,000, doubling the impact of your gift.

Join the team or donate towards one of the team members above. With your support, we will be able to recruit, train and place 80 new CASA volunteers.

After a comprehensive 40-hour training, and formal appointment by the Court, these new volunteer CASAs will be paired with a foster child and will:

  • Advocate for safe, permanent, and nurturing homes
  • Address their educational, healthcare, and other urgent needs
  • Insist that those making decisions impacting a youth have a complete picture of his/her current situation, needs and interests
  • Help them to develop permanent connections in the community.

Jennifer, an SFCASA volunteer has shared her story at www.sfcasa.org.
