The Jesuit Christian Service Program provides students opportunities to engage in service within a context that calls for solidarity with people in need. It complements the academic curriculum by providing experiences that enable students to recognize the dignity and vlue of each human being and to live out the gospel message of love, service and community through direct action.

Students will volunteer at a number of local non-profit organizations in Sacramento, meeting the needs of the homeless, hungry, and impoverished. We will end each day with a time of reflection and prayer, and it is quite common for our young men to continue volunteering beyond their 50 hour commitment.

Please consider joining us in this ministry by donating toward the supplies and food we will purchase as well as donations to the non-profits in our community with whom we will volunteer. We also ask for your prayers as we undertake this work and experience service and solidarity with our neighbors.
