Sexual exploitation-whether through rape or prostitution-is a traumatic reality for too many in our community.

  • National research shows that a significant minority of girls and women across America experience sexual assault.*
  • Local research documents that many thousands of girls and women in and near Chicago are harmed in prostitution and trafficked for sex.

While CAASE stands with survivors, and seeks to change law and policy to hold perpetrators accountable, we also believe that a critical way to end sexual exploitation is by preventing it from happening in the first place.

That's why CAASE created cutting-edge, outcomes-tested, curriculum for youth. CAASE teaches young people--with a focus on young men--how to deter and prevent sexual exploitation, by learning how to identify and oppose the attitudes and behaviors that promote rape and prostitution.

We've educated more than 5,000 high school students across Chicago, and almost a dozen organizations across America are now implementing our curriculum in their communities. Thanks to our generous donors, CAASE is transforming young men's attitudes and nurturing new leaders who know how to stand with girls and women, and against rape and the sex trade.

But you can help us do so much more.

Your support can expand our programming with college-aged men, it can further the reach of our high school program, it can play a role in ensuring that more boys become men who never, ever seek to buy sex or turn a blind eye to predatory behavior by their peers.

Invest in future champions against sexual violence and exploitation. Donate to our team, sprint into summer, and help us keep sexual exploitation from ever reaching the starting line.
