The Palmetto Patriots - Florence Chapter are four member's of Florence County Sheriffs Office with a passion for cycling and honoring officers killed in the line of duty. Ben Price - Patrol Deputy, Tre Ghram - Patrol Deputy, Sarah Johnson - Forensics Technician and Dr. Robert Moore - Reserve Deputy / SWAT Doctor have more than 17 years combined experience serving the citizens of Florence County. In May 2013 they will ride over 250 miles to honor law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty while raising funds for their survivors.

The Palmetto Patriots will be supporting Law Enforecement United, a non profit organization that raises funds to support the Officer Down Memorial Page and the Concerns of Police Survivors . The Officer Down Memorial Page memorializes fallen officers and tells the stories of their lives, so that others may remember them as time passes on. The Concerns Of Police Survivors supports families and friends of fallen officers by providing many services, such as grief counseling, social gatherings and assistance in handling the final affairs of the fallen officers.

The Palmetto Patriots - Florence Chapter need your help to meet their fundraising goal of $10,000. Ben, Sarah, Tre and Robert work to support their communities every day, it is our sincere hope the community will support their efforts to remember fallen law enforcement officers and assist their families.
