We are a team of Students from Suffolk Univirsity's Sawyer Business School. We have grouped together to form a team to run in the Spartan Sprint Race at Fenway Park, on November 18th, 2012.

Spartan Race is a way to get active, healthy, and excited about change and challeges. The race focuses on running through woods, getting dirty, and facing adversity was part of everyday life. The events are all about challenging today’s perception of norma; they challenge the familiar, today’s perception of normal living and getting you out of your comfort zone!

Spartan Sprints are muddy 3+ MILES / 15+ OBSTACLES course races. Beginners to hardcore warriors, and marathon runners alike come out to test themselves on the insane obstacles! This 5k race is comprised of mud runs, obstacles, trail racing, physical challenges and mental challenges.

We have chosen to participate in this race, in the hopes that our determination will inspire others to make changes in their lives as well. We hope that through our participation, we can raise money and awareness for the charity "Homes for our Troops". HFOT is a national non-profit, non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2004. They are strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to our country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries since September 11, 2001. The charity focuses on assisting severely injured Veterans and their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor and to coordinate the process of building a home that provides maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently.

HFOT has recieved top ratings from both Charity Navigator, and Charity Watch, which are two of the counties premier rating agencies and watchdog organizations, respectively.
