“It only takes one person to make a change in this world. Remember to Turn the Light On… lead the way.” – Natasha Ryan, KING 5 News Reporter

On October 5th, Shepherd's Counseling Services presents its fourth annual Turn the Light On event. This evening brings hope to life with inspiring and authentic stories of healing and community support for greater awarenessof this important issue.

Light Carriers help build community awareness and help raise funds to support Shepherd's services for survivors. At Turn the Light On in October, many Light Carriers will also carry a light onstage for the grand finale.

“I want you to imagine a world where powerful institutions and healthy families affirmatively protect children within their midst and root out the perpetrators, even at the risk of embarrassment…. Thank you for Turning the Light On.” – Dan Satterberg, King County Prosecuting Attorney
