"Ken's Krewe" a team to help the National Alliance on Mental Illness-Boise Chapter continue and expand its free services.
NAMI Boise is a small nonprofit that depends on local funding for its programs and services. We provide high quality free education and support programs for individuals with mental health issues as well as their family members and loved ones. These services are provided over an ever expanding area in the Treasure Valley, including Ontario, Oregon. We provide accurate information and help people link up with needed services. Expenses include one half time employee to staff the office, typical office expenses, and training expenses for our volunteer instructors and support group facilitators. In Our Own Voice provides speakers willing to share their personal stories of successfully living with mental health problems, and NAMI Basics provides assistance to parents facing mental health related behavioral issues with their children.
The team's goal is to raise $1000 dollars. Local folks are encourgaged to join the march.
Your participation in the march, either physically or financially, is greatly appreciated.
