A team for BYTE BACK
"Keith Clark" a team to help the BYTE BACK...
Byte Back's 15th birthday is on October 15. For the last fifteen years, Byte Back has been improving economic opportunity by providing computer training and employment readiness skills to low-income residents in the Washington D.C. area. Last year was a great year for Byte Back; we taught classes in three languages to over 1,400 students at 26 sites around the city. We were even a finalist for the 2012 Washington Post Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Management!
Unfortunately, this may be a tough financial year for Byte Back. For the past two years, a federal stimulus grant enabled us to expand to meet increased demand for computer literacy and job training. However, the stimulus grant is nearly finished and we urgently need to find replacement funds as we plan for our winter courses.
In recognition of our 15th year, we are asking that you donate at least $15 before October 15, 2012.
