Israel’s first girls’ U19 Lacrosse Team is traveling to compete in the U19 World Cup in Scotland this July. This is Israel’s first native-born Israeli team to compete in an international tournament. Most of the girls have never played a team sport before, and most girls had never held a lacrosse stick until last September, some as recently as two weeks ago! Their spirit and energy is incredible, and they are beginning to form a true team dynamic and work ethic. Lacrosse has had an aboslutely positive impact on these girls' lives, and having the opportunity to compete in Scotland and represent the country they are so proud of will be life-changing. Any support you can give towards this team would be appreciated, as this trip to Scotland is very expensive, and the reality is that most of the girls cannot afford to pay their way. Due to the coaches' strong belief in the value that lacrosse is adding to these girls' lives, we have not turned any dedicated player away from being on the U19 Team for financial reasons. This being our personal philosophy, we are working extremely hard to reach our fundraising goal of $50,000, which will cover the expense of our entire trip. Thank you in advance for your support and energy towards this cause!
