The Jesuit Christian Service Program provides students opportunities to engage in service within a context that calls for solidarity with people in need. It complements the academic curriculum by providing experiences that enable students to recognize the dignity and vlue of each human being and to live out the gospel message of love, service and community through direct action.

Students will volunteer with International Samaritan (intsam.org), working with children whose families live in the dump adjacent to the preschool and elementary school. It is challenging and rewarding work, focused on building relationships and restoring dignity.

Please consider joining us in this ministry by donating toward the supplies we will purchase to work in the school and meet the needs of the families who live in the adjacent dump. We also ask for your prayers as we undertake this work and experience service and solidarity with our neighbors to the south.
