The Franklin County Women's Shelter (FCWS) is more than just a homeless shelter for women and children. FCWS is an agency that invests in women and children. FCWS provides a place to live, a place to grow, and a place to become. The Shelter helps stabilize mental and physical health conditions, promotes self-awareness and teaches financial and problem solving skills. FCWS is a place where women can recover, rebuild, and achieve. FCWS believes that an investment in women is an investment with endless returns.

Help us meet our goal during our spring fundraiser! In 2014, FCWS provided shelter, services and support to 250 women and children through our emergency shelter program and transitional housing center. The shelter also operates the community's only 24/7 information and referral hotline, providing servies and referrals to over 450 callers.

The unique setting and environment of the Franklin County Women's Shelter provides a backdrop for women to build the strong roots that help them flourish and become active members of the community.
