"Edmond Richardson "Cementing the Legacy" Team" a team to help the MORRIS BROWN COLLEGE NATIONAL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION...
I NEED YOUR HELP
I graduated in 2003 from Morris Brown College with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science. During my time at Morris Brown, I served as Student government Association (SGA) President, and by virtue of my position, I served on the College’s Board of Trustees. Since my graduation from Morris Brown College I have earned a Certificate of Nonprofit Management from Georgia State University, Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of West Georgia. Currently, I serve as Chief of Staff to DeKalb County Commissioner.
As many you many know, my undergraduate institution, Morris Brown College
has endured many hardships the past 10 years, and the institution that freed
slaves built in 1881, to educate thousands, is in danger of no longer existing
to educate our best and brightest. With this in mind, Alumni and Friends have
come together to launch a $56.4 million Fundraising Campaign to “Cement the Legacy” of our College and I need YOUR help to meet my personal goal to raise $10,000 for this campaign. This campaign is unprecedented in our college history. —and this campaign gives you a chance to make a real difference, in higher education.
Please join me in supporting Morris Brown College, my Alma Mater. TODAY, let’s make history. Today your gift of $30 or more to Morris Brown College will “Cement the Legacy” of this great institution.
BENEFITS OF THE INITIATIVE
With your help, the success of the campaign will enable the college to do the following:
By far, this will be the most aggressive campaign in the college’s history, and by coming together with a unified purpose, we’ll do just that -make history and Cement the Legacy of Morris Brown College.
