Diamond Fever 12U Girls Softball
This campaign already ended. We hope you like the results!
"Diamond Fever 12U Girls Softball" to play 100 inning game to help raise money for fees to play softball with Diamond Fever!
My name is Cassidy Merricks and I play 12U fastpitch softball with the Diamond Fever organization.
I am the daughter of David and Buffy Merricks and the granddaughter of Danny and Anne Knight, Bucky Merricks and Vivian and Roger Wood. I have been playing softball for several years now and I am really excited to be able to continuw with this organization and take my game to the next level.
Our program supports approximately 60 girls, ages 8-18, from Southside Virginia and surrounding areas. We are an organization engrained in the community for over 16 years, and we have accomplished lofty goals, earning more tournament titles and points than many of our competitors and making a distinguished name for ourselves in our area.
But to me, Diamond Fever is so much more. With my teammates and coaches, I have learned skills beyond the softball field. I have learned the value of teamwork, the meaning of the words “Never Give Up,” and the integrity of bringing good sportsmanship to every part of my life. My goal is to continue with Diamond Fever throughout my school years and later to continue my love and talent for the game in college.
This goal does not come easily, and I am hoping I can count on your help. In October the Diamond Fever organization is having a 100-inning softball game. Yes, 100-innings! I need to earn $1,000 for my organization by getting you and other generous people to sponsor each inning of this game. For 25ȼ each inning ($25 total), you will be helping me reach my goal. Of course, you may pledge any amount you would like, from 10ȼ per inning ($10) to $1 per inning or more! You decide!
I really hope I can count on your help!
