This year marks our 4th annual event, ANAD week. ANAD week will be held Sunday, February 21st, 2016 – Sunday, February 28th, 2016. Throughout the course of this week we will be to promoting good health and positive self-image by covering the mirrors all across campus with inspirational quotes, offering healthier options in all the on campus eateries, and hosting several campus wide exercise events. One top of that we will he hosting a be-you-tiful fashion show and a candlelight vigil to honor those who were lost to these disorders.

Eating disorders are rampant in our society, yet few states in the nation have adequate programs or services to combat anorexia nervosa, bulimia and binge eating. Only a small number of secondary schools and colleges have programs to educate our youth about the dangers of eating disorders, how to cope with an eating disorder and how to recover from an eating disorder. We are asking for your help and hopefully enlisting your support so that together we can raise awareness about this growing problem, as well as, improve the quality of support and resources for those who are suffering with these disorders.
