Cradle Crew Walk for Adoption
A team for CRADLE SOCIETY
The Cradle Crew is Coming Through! Join the Center for Lifelong Adoption Support as we walk to support adoption!
On Saturday, September 24th folks from throughout the Chicagoland area will participate in the 6th Annual Walk for Adoption Chicago. Adoptive families will take to the 2.4 mile walking path around Lake Arlington, Arlington Heights, Illinois, to celebrate and commemorate adoption.
We invite you to walk with other adoptive families and staff from The Cradle’s Center for Lifelong Adoption Support (CLAS). In an effort to unite CLAS families in a supportive community, we are walking as a team to celebrate the joy adoption has brought to our families. As part of that effort, we are also raising funds to support our growing therapy practice. Your tax deductible support will purchase art supplies, therapeutic board games, and other materials that are used in counseling sessions with children and adoptive families.
The mission for CLAS is to provide a continuum of support to birth and adoptive parents, adopted persons and families as they live, learn and grow. Counseling with adoption-competent therapists and workshops on timely topics of interest to adoptive parents are a few of the services we offer.
Thank you for your donation and we look forward to seeing you at the walk!
