CORDUSA @ AU's Summer Service Trip to Tamaraipakkam, Tamil Nadu
Puja Balachander- President/Founder of CORDUSA @ AU. She is a second year student at American University, majoring in International Development, with a particular passion for Rural Development in South Asia. She is also one of the CORDUSA @ AU members going the service trip your donations will sponsor.
Heidi Liedtke- Vice President of CORDUSA @ AU. She is a second year student at American University, majoring in International Studies with a focus on National Security. Heidi is excited to gain personal and professional experience in South Asia through this service trip.
Nicola Brooks- Member of CORDUSA @ AU. Nicola is a third year student at American University, who is also majoring in International Development. Nicola wants to follow up this hands on experience in rural India with academic research on rural development in Tamil Nadu.
Emma Chong- Member of CORDUSA @ AU. Emma is a first year student at American University, majoring in International Deveopment. Emma is looking forward to learning about rural Development as a field, and immersing herself in the Indian culture.
Kiera Hall- Member of CORDUSA @ AU. Kiera is a third year student and American University majoring in Political Science. Keira is particularly interested in learning about the role of local governance in procuring development for rural villages in South India during the service trip.
We are aiming to raise $1000 towards our 1.5 month service trip to Tamaraipakkam this summer, where we will each be able to meet our personal and professional goals outlined above. Your donations will go directly to funding this trip, and will support our accommodation, transportation, food, and water costs for the duration of our stay.
