The Jesuit Christian Service Program provides students opportunities to engage in service within a context that calls for solidarity with people in need. It complements the academic curriculum by providing experiences that enable students to recognize the dignity and vlue of each human being and to live out the gospel message of love, service and community through direct action.

Students will participate in a collaborative effort between two non-profits, Natik and Rise Now, to build a playground in the Tzotzil Maya community of Zinancantan. (www.natik.org and www.rise-now.org)

Please consider joining us in this ministry by donating toward the supplies we will purchase to build the playground and support the Mayan community. We also ask for your prayers as we undertake this work and experience service and solidarity with our neighbors to the south.
