Despite what you learned as a child, playing with food is exactly the point of Canstruction 2014. The nationwide program, which is organized in DC by the Washington Architectural Foundation (www.wafonline.org) , challenges teams of architecture, construction, and engineering professionals to interpret a theme using stacked canned goods.

Teams are vying for "The People’s Choice” which is won by the number of on-line votes on the website of the Capital Area Food Bank—the organization to which the cans are donated. One dollar equal one vote.
