On March 1, from 6-8pm at St Stephens University Center on The Ohio State University campus, there will be a dinner fundraiser in support of two indigenous Moldovan organizations.

The Community of Christian Students (CSC in the Moldovan language) focuses on university students and recent graduates, developing young people who can integrate their faith into their workplace. Invest Credit focuses on grass-roots economic development by providing loans and training for micro-entrepreneurs. Moldova is a leading source of human trafficking, so the work of these organizations plays a critical role in creating change by developing role models and creating employment that alleviates this evil.

Funds raised by the Borscht Benefit will go to empower Moldovan women like those in the photos above, who are role models as businesswomen or in developing leaders
