Teen Challenge Jamaica (TCJ) is a one-year residential, faith-based rehabilitation program. TCJ currently serves males at the age of 15 years and over from every walk of life mostly dealing with substance abuse and other life controlling problems and has recently re-opened a women’s home to serve young women in the region. TCJ aims “to facilitate life-transformation for people with life-controlling problems, one life at a time.”

Under the leadership of Executive Director Anthony Richards, TCJ currently supports a 40-bed Men's Center in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and has recently acquired a 10 acre farming operation near Haddon, Jamaica. The farm micro-enterprise will help to sustain the growing ministry of TCJ. In 2011, TCJ launched an 8-bed Women’s Center under the leadership of Barbara Richards to help young women find the same help available to men through TCJ.

TCJ is exploring a variety of micro-enterprises to enhance the long-term sustainability of the ministry. We will be ministering to men and women at TCJ and working side-by-side with them to support the Executive Director's vision for sustainability. Potential projects include painting the training center, engaging in construction projects at the farm and exploring microenterprise opportunities for TCJ.
