The "Seventy-Sixers" are a community team helping the veterans of American Legion Spirit of Freedom POST 76 support their Las Vegas "Heroes-to-Hometown" program for our brave service men and women returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, and U.S. VETS - LAS VEGAS, who provided our Post 76 Chaplain with housing, and support services, a few years ago.

United States Veterans Initiative, also known as U.S.VETS, is the largest non-profit organization of its kind, providing an array of support services to 'at-risk' and homeless Veterans and their families. "U.S. VETS - Las Vegas" was estalished 10 years ago in response to the overwhelming need for stable, supportive, on-site housing for the hundreds of homeless veterans sleeping on the streets of Las Vegas, and also provides counseling, career development, and social services support to homeless and 'at-risk' Veterans and their families.

Online donations, on behalf of Post 76, may be made directly to our good friends at U.S.VETS on the link at nvbiggive.org, and entering "u.s.vets-las vegas".
