The 40-40-40 Campaign invites 40 supporter to ask 40 of their friends family for a $40 donation to fund the foundation's next 40 years!

Lupus is one of the cruelest, most mysterious diseases on earth - it strikes without warning, has unpredictable, sometimes fatal effects, lasts a lifetime and has no known cause and no known cure. It is more pervasive than people think and impacts people on a scale that the public does not realize.

40 years ago, a group of volunteers got together to approve the constitution of the newly formed Lupus Erythematosus Society of Illinois - the organization currently know as the Lupus Foundation of America, Illinois Chapter.

Now, the LFAI is celebrating 40 years of service and striving to ensure we are able to meet the needs of Illinois' lupus community for the next 40 years.

Lupus is one of the cruelest, most mysterious diseases on earth - it strikes without warning, has unpredictable, sometimes fatal effects, lasts a lifetime and has no known cause and no known cure.

It is a harsh fact of life that lack of money often stands in the way of curing sickness and relieving suffering. The Lupus Foundation of America, Illinois Chapter rallies experts and deploys resources so that society can make progress toward solving the cruel myster of lupus and ending its devastating impact.

Today, we hope you will join us as a 40-40-40 Ambassador and join our team!
