The Amarillo College Suzuki Program offers excellence in instruction for students from ages 3 to 18. Averaging enrollment of 115-130 students, it is more than a place to learn to play an instrument, it is a special place where young people learn important values, make lifelong friendships and flourish as musicians.

Located in the Texas Panhandle, students in the Amarillo College Suzuki Program are leaders in their school orchestras, area orchestra, choir, and theater programs, and countless school and community service organizations.

Your gifts make it possible for the program to sustain efforts to:

* Maintain a quality music curriculum grounded in the philosophy of Shinichi Suzuki, for violin, viola, cello, flute and guitar students.

* Provide financial aid to students who could not otherwise afford private lessons, or who need short-term assistance to continue their long-term study.

* Offer a full complement of early childhood music, beginning theory, orchestra and small ensemble classes through which youngsters can develop an excitement for learning, and experience the richness of making music with others.

* Attract and retain quality faculty who have credentials registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas and who bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to each and every student they teach.

Tuition along cannot support sustained excellence or financial security, and currently covers only 80-85% of our yearly expenses. That is why your contribution is important to the AC Suzuki Program as we plan for the next forty years!
