Event Information

Date/Time: Saturday, October 18th, 3-9pm

Where: Wabash Valley Banquet Center at the Fairgrounds - 3901 US Hwy 41 S, Terre Haute, Indiana

Admission: $10.00 Donation (includes music, games, food, beverage and prizes)

Raise $50 in pledges, you will receive a water bottle

Raise $75 in pledges, you will receive a t-shirt and be entered into a raffle for the GRAND PRIZE

Developmental Services, Inc. (DSI) and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Best Buddies Student Group are teaming up to raise awareness and funds to benefit adults with disabilities living in the Wabash Valley, Indiana. DSI and Best Buddies are both 501c3 non profit organizations. DSI's mission is to provide services and supports to people with barriers to attain self-direction, inclusion, and personal fulfillment & productivity in all life areas. Best Buddies' mission is to establish a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The goals of the 2014 Dance Marathon are: 1. To raise awareness about about the mission of both DSI and Best Buddies 2. To raise funds that will benefit adults with disabilities living in the Wabash Valley. 80% of the event proceeds will fund programs at DSI, and 20% of the event proceeds will go towards the RHIT Friendship Walk team, which will assist the Best Buddies Indiana state office in expansion efforts across the state of Indiana.
