After hearing Bob Gross talk at a Brethren event on Manchester University's campus Kyle Riege and Sam Ott decided they needed to help. Both are avid weightlifters and have been lifting together for several years. They decided that this would be a great way to get involved and show their support. Money that is raised will be for the On Earth Peace fund 3000 miles for peace. Their goal is to involve several other lifters in this 5 hour lifting marathon and by multiplying number of pounds by number of reps they want to break 1,000,000 lbs. A date for this event will occur before the deadline of May 5.

Hey guys, Just wondering when this week would work to meet up and come up with a date for the lift. Does Thursday night at like 7:30 work for everyone? If it works for most people we'll go ahead and have our first meeting then.
