Raising money to help the Community Food Bank of NJ to deal with the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy and the upcoming holiday season.
Even if I had not been born and raised in New Jersey, I would have been moved by the human suffering in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy. Still, as someone with deep roots in the Garden State, I wanted to do something to help my home state in its time of need. Luckily, my good friend Eric Rubinson created this wonderful event. Instead of spending the day after Thanksgiving hunting for bargains in the stores, we will be celebrating "Track Friday" to raise money for storm relief charities. Food banks are always stretched thin at this time of year, and the storm has only compounded those problems. Please take a few moments to donate to this wonderful organization, or to spread word of what we are trying to accomplish.
