I founded Team PRIDE to give people a chance to get fit while giving back. Together we are united by mission and powered by purpose.

Did you know that despite being paralyzed from the chest down, I'm not labeled a person with a disability at PRIDE Industries? This is because I am competitively employed, and our services target people with disabilities who are not able to find or retain employment in the community. How cool is that? Currently we employ over 2,400 who are typically excluded from our workforce.

I founded Team PRIDE to give our employees and constiuents the opportunity to get fit, have fun and race for a reason. Together we train and race in endurance events to raise awareness and funds for PRIDE Industries Foundation. Rest assured that 100% of your donations to Team PRIDE and PRIDE Industries Foundation go directly to our mission of creating jobs for people with disabilities.

Our first race is the American River Parkway Half Marathon on April 28, 2012. I will be pushing the half marathon in my racing wheelchair, and aim to quadruple our fundraising minimum of $250 by raising $1,000 for PRIDE Industries Foundation.

Thank you in advance for your support of our mission to create jobs and opportunity for those most often excluded from employment opportunities. Together we change lives....One job at a time.
