The Jacaranda school provides free primary & secondary education, medical care and meals to over 400 orphans in Malawi, Africa.
Marie Da Silva founded the Jacaranda School in her family home over eight years ago. Using the money she earned as a nanny in the States, Marie slowly and steady had built the school from a single house to a campus educating 400 orphans, who have lost their parents primarily to the AIDS epidemic.
Today, the school has expanded to include a computer lab, library, sustainable agricultural projects and college scholarships.
