Working to achieve the permanent protection for the biological, geological and cultural resources of Gold Butte

We are a group of people who are WILD about Gold Butte, Nevada's piece of the Grand Canyon. Gold Butte is rich with historical, cultural, and biological resources. Native Americans called Gold Butte home for over 2000 years. Later, the Spanish and pioneers mined the area, leaving their historic mark. Gold Butte is home to a variety of wild life including the rare and endangered desert tortoise and the big horn sheep.

We want to protect our access to Gold Butte so that future generations can enjoy it too. There are over 500 miles of designated roads in Gold Butte, and that will not change! What will change is the availability of more resources to manage the growth of activity in Gold Butte including facilities and education.
