Holiday Helpings helps make the holidays happen for families in need in DC. It's a longstanding tradition at Bread for the City.

I have so much to be grateful for in my life. So I look forward to holding hands with my family and friends around our holiday table to give thanks with them. Shouldn't everyone be able to celebrate and give thanks for the good things in their lives during the holidays?

There's a great -- and easy -- way to make this happen. It fills holiday food baskets, is a food drive, and serves meals all in one: it's called HOLIDAY HELPINGS.

Bread for the City helps thousands of families to put a dinner on their holiday table by providing a turkey and all the trimmings for just $29 per family.

Holiday Helpings lets us give a gift to those who often don't receive many presents. This is something that they can share with their families and gather around.

Throughout the year, Bread for the City offers comprehensive support to struggling people in our community by providing food, clothing, medical care, legal aid, and social services free of charge to more than 30,000 of DC's most vulnerable. Holiday Helpings is one of the ways we each can contribute to strengthening our community.
