Running for the G-Row Boston Marathon team so others can experience the benefits of rowing!
Having been a runner since high school and a rower since college, I cannot even begin to describe the impact these sports have had on my life. I can honestly say I would not be the person I am, had I not had these opportunities.
Being accepted to run the Boston Marathon 2012 to fundraise for the G-Row team is the perfect combination of two of my passions. Through your support, G-Row will be able to continue providing the physical, psychological and social rewards of rowing to girls in the Boston Public Schools. The program's core philosophy is centered on inclusion, relationship building, academic success and support through intensive, recreational and summer programs. Today G-Row serves over 200 girls between the ages of 12-18.
Thank you for your support of such a fantastic organization and I hope to see you on April 16th, 2012 as I take on Boston!
