Our team is walking or running for the animals at Heartland Animal Shelter at the annual Walk of Love & 10K for K9s, Saturday, July 28th 2012. Heartland is celebrating its 10th anniversary rescuing, caring for and finding forever, loving homes for abandoned animals. It is truly a Decade of Love for the animals! Heartland Animal Shelter is a no-kill animal shelter and a non-profit, 501(c) 3 organization.
Heartland's mission is to find permanent, loving homes for homeless animals and promote responsible pet ownership through education, community outreach and collaboration while maintaining respect and compassion for all creatures.
Heartland Animal Shelter is a beacon of hope for animals in need. Each year Heartland Animal Shelter rescues and adopts nearly one thousand animals providing food, shelter, medical treatment and loving care until they find their forever homes. Thank you for joining the team to help Heartland save the lives of these wonderful animals and provide them the second chance that they deserve.
