Did you know that one in three new teachers leaves the profession within just three years? One of the reasons teachers leave is they don't feel appreciated. We want to change that! Help keep talented teachers in our City's classrooms.
With your help, classroom supplies, a gift basket, notes of thanks and a discount program will be delivered to every San Francisco public school this May. Classroom volunteers and teacher professional development will be provided throughout the school year.
We surveyed SF teachers to see what community members can do to help them feel valued and those were the things at the top of their lists.
