Reopen Mazama Basecamp in 2013 and foster confidence, compassion, and a conservation ethic in our young people through wilderness courses.

Outward Bound is far more than a series of wilderness courses. It is a community that fosters a way of life built upon care, compassion, and confidence. We are commited to instilling these values in each and every course participant. Due to recent economic challenges and organizational restructuring, our beloved Mazama Basecamp, located just outside of North Cascades National Park, had to be closed in 2012. This means we were unable to serve students in the state of Washington.

However, a committed group of Outward Bound alumni, staff, parents, and supporters has begun to successfully raise money to reopen the Mazama Basecamp for 2013 and beyond so that we can continue our tradition of providing world-class character-building outdoor programs that inspire students and challenge them to change their lives and ignite their potential.

To reach our goal, we need those of you who have been touched by or support Outward Bound to join us. Please donate what you can TODAY and help us reach our Razoo goal of $20,000.
