We’re closing Nicollet Mall for this extravaganza! The 2nd Annual High Heel Dash will consist of contestants (men & women in separate heats) running a 25-yard dash in heels, 3 inches or taller.

Show your support for people in need by attending Aegis Foundation’s 2nd Annual High Heel Dash at Peavey Plaza on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis. Men and women of all ages are welcome to compete in the 25-yard dash wearing a pair of high heels (heels must be a minimum of three inches) which will benefit two wonderful charities– Emergency Foodshelf Network (EFN), a non-profit food bank distributing food and support services to Minnesota hunger relief organizations and Project Footsteps, an organization that inspires, empowers and prepares youth to be agents of change, social leaders and volunteers.

DETAILS:

Join us at Peavey Plaza Thursday, August 11, 2011

Registration is $20.00, we ask that you raise a minimum of $100 to dash for the cause! Create your own page by clicking on above link "JOIN US" Then in the "Join this Team" box, click on Fundraise.
1. Send your team fundraising page link to your supporters and encourage them to help you reach your goal. We recommend reaching out to friends, family, coworkers, and anyone you know who might want to be a part of your team.

2. Follow-up personally with your supporters to ask them to fundraise on your behalf. On average, a single fundraiser raises $250. The highest fundraiser also gets a great prize!!
