A project of Camarones Community Coalition
Come party with some wonderful instructors for a good cause!
The Camarones Community Coalition (hereafter CCC) was established in September 2011 by a mixture of individuals living in Ecuador and in the United States to assist a rural community in Ecuador with sustainable social development and to provide cultural exchanges between youth and adults living in the USA and Ecuador in order to improve the overall quality of living and protect the environment. More broadly, CCC aims to improve the socioeconomic level of living, the health, and the educational levels/capacity of individuals by developing a working model for successfully linking cultural and environmental preservation in an extremely poor community . Members of the CCC believe that cross-cultural collaborations are key to addressing poverty and some of the most prominent issues that are linked with poverty: malnutrition, illiteracy, threats of illicit behavior, depression, and environmental degradation.
