YMCA Camp Widjiwagan Y Partners Annual Support Campaign

YMCA Camp Widjiwagan is committed to developing individuals, our community and our environment through unique outdoor experiences. Each year, our supporters invest in that cause. In 2011, we are relying on your contribution to continue our important work.

Since 1929, Widjiwagan has provided wilderness experiences for youth. Widji provides an opportunity for youth to build life-long friendships, increase self-confidence and gain physical strength by getting off the couch and into the wilderness. Students who come to camp in the winter, spring and fall months experience the outdoors as their classroom. They learn about eco-systems, the night sky and have the chance to jump into the frozen lake after a sauna.

A young person who is a part of Widji, no matter what time of year, comes away with an increase in respect for self, the community and the environment—the foundation of all our programs.
