Part of the World Games, the Law Enforcement Torch Run Final Leg® for Special Olympics will take the message to every corner of Korea.
Law Enforcement officials and Special Olympics athletes, unified together as a part of the Final Leg Team, will serve as true Guardians of the Flame™ and promote the powerful messages of inclusion, acceptance, and ability every step of our Final Leg journey to promote the 2013 Winter World Games. The 2013 Korea Final Leg Torch Run will be held from 21 January to 29 January 2013 culminating with
the arrival of the Flame of Hope™ by the Guardians of the Flame, the Final Leg team in Pyeongchang, Korea for the Opening Ceremonies of the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games.
I am the LETR Final Leg Runner for Oklahoma selected to represent LETR and Special Olympics Oklahoma on the global stage. I live in Tulsa, OK and am a Tulsa Police Officer. It will cost a minimum of $4,000 for Special Olympics Oklahoma to send me to Korea. I am helping SOOK defray that cost as much as possible by aiming to raise a minimum of $1,000. I hope you will be able to help Special Olympics Oklahoma send me to Korea this winter.
Thank you for helping me with this once-in-lifetime-experience.
