Developing today's youth into tomorrow's WINNERS through a character-building program.
Winners Walk Tall Character Coaches help elementary and middle school students understand the importance of becoming confident, productive members of society by focusing on character attributes that will serve them well and give them the skills to become “winners” in life.
Winners Walk Tall was founded in 1992 in one Cincinnati urban school. Today we reach over 9,500 young people in 60 schools and community centers throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
Because we believe that all children should have the opportunity to reach their full potential and become winners, we make the program available to all schools and community centers at no cost. However, we need your help to make this happen.
For each new school or after school site, we need an investment of $ 6,000 to provide programming for the first full year. This investment covers the cost of supplies, training, program development, and volunteer management. During the first year, our staff spends a great deal of time working with the school administration to ensure that our program is benefiting the school, teachers and students, and working out any logistical issues that may arise with implementation.
Once the school is engaged in the program, the cost to deliver the program on an annual basis drops to only $ 3,000. This cost includes staff time with administrators and teachers, Character Coach recruitment and training, and materials. Children benefit from the Winners Walk Tall program for only pennies each day!
We would be most grateful for any gift you might consider giving to help us reach our goal and respond to the schools that want to bring the Winners Walk Tall program to their students.
Thank you your support.
