WPS works with UDOT and DWR to put wildlife fencing and escape ramps in migration corridors.

The Wildlife Protection Society is a nonprofit dedicated to the protection and preservation of wildlife for future generations.

We carry out our mission through research, community outreach, and education; and by working cooperatively with city, county, and state agencies to create guidelines and implement policies and/or procedures that will give wildlife the best opportunity to thrive and survive despite the ongoiing threats caused by population growth and the encroachment of development. The Wildlife Protection Society created an Inter-Agency Task Force which works collectively to address wildlife related issues. We have placed wildlife warning signs on our roadways and worked with UDOT and other state agencies to provide fencing and escape ramps for wildlife along the roadways to reduce vehicle-animal collisions, thereby increasing safety for those who travel through our area. WPS conducts free educational programs for citizens, visitors, and children in our communities, providing valuable information on reducing the potential for human-wildlife conflict.
